Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Supervise a team of entry to mid-experienced technical specialists and EITs. • Lead environmental compliance projects, including NPDES Permit regulation interpretation and report preparation. • Manage multi-disciplinary projects, guiding the design and technical direction for civil/site, water resources, and wastewater components in power generation facilities. • Create deliverables such as grading plans, erosion and sedimentation control plans, stormwater management plans, and utility design. • Design water and wastewater systems, performing collection, conveyance, treatment, pumping, and storage engineering. • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, as well as develop drainage systems and stormwater management solutions. • Design temporary and permanent Stormwater Best Management Practices. • Maintain budget, schedule, and quality of projects while staying informed on regulatory changes. • Develop proposals, scopes of work, man-hour estimates, and detailed engineering work plans. • Periodically travel domestically for project site visits or client meetings (up to 10% of the time).

Qualifications: • BS degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering (MS preferred). • Professional Engineering License. • 5+ years of project management experience. • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. • Skilled in planning and organizing workload efficiently. • Committed to delivering quality work with a positive attitude. • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D for generating site plans, surfaces, and profiles. • Familiarity with GIS software such as ArcGIS is a plus.

Technical Responsibilities: • Develop standards and guidelines frequently. • Lead projects within the practice of specialization. • Create design alternatives for complex engineering projects, considering practical requirements and regulatory constraints. • Integrate sustainability into advanced problem-solving endeavors.

Project and Task Management: • Oversee technical, legal, and financial aspects of projects. • Recommend necessary facilities, personnel, and funds for project execution. • Implement complete project management plans for complex engineering tasks. • Facilitate effective teamwork and leadership in engineering solutions. • Define project objectives and requirements clearly. • May act as Project Manager for select projects, upon approval from GAI's President, for projects up to $150,000 per year.

Management Responsibility: • Supervise a major practice segment or several teams. • Work under broad administrative supervision with general objectives outlined. • Implement development plans for technical, management, and leadership skills within the team. • Evaluate the performance of leaders and teams effectively.

Communication Skills: • Possess outstanding oral and written communication abilities, particularly in negotiating complex issues. • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. • Demonstrate financial understanding and awareness of legal aspects related to engineering practices. • Maintain relationships with key engineers and officials.
