About the Role

The Senior Engineering Manager, ERP Procure to Pay Solutions will take charge of the strategy, delivery, and operations of our Procure to Pay (P2P) applications landscape across a global enterprise. This role ensures the development of stable, scalable, and secure solutions that support comprehensive procurement and payables processes.

As part of UKG's Enterprise Solutions & Experience division, and the Global Business Operations vertical, you will be responsible for enhancing UKG’s P2P capabilities through various ERP platforms (like SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, NetSuite) and related cloud solutions (such as Ariba, Concur, and ServiceNow).

This leader plays a crucial role in transforming ERP and finance functions, leveraging AI, automation, and data‑driven insights to minimize manual labor, enhance cycle times, and support decision‑making. As a digital change agent, you will shape the future of our P2P operations and supplier partnerships. This position will oversee the design of standardized P2P processes, govern our applications ecosystem, and drive automation to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the Procure to Pay applications roadmap and architecture, aligned with enterprise IT strategy.
  • Lead design, oversight, and implementation of P2P capabilities within core ERP systems and related applications.
  • Govern and refine the P2P application ecosystem, ensuring seamless functionality among platforms.
  • Oversee application lifecycle activities including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and management of changes.
  • Ensure day‑to‑day application support, incident management, and compliance with service level agreements.
  • Design integrations between ERP systems and other financial tools, ensuring comprehensive functionality.
  • Implement application and process controls to meet SOX and audit requirements.
  • Define and track performance KPIs for P2P applications and processes.
  • Collaborate with business process owners to transform requirements into technical specifications.
  • Lead upgrades, enhancements, and rollouts of ERP and P2P systems, including change management.
  • Manage partnerships with software vendors and service providers to maximize value.
  • Build and mentor a distributed team of analysts and engineers across various locations.

Required Qualifications

  • 8‑10+ years of experience in IT applications management or ERP systems, emphasizing Procure to Pay capabilities.
  • Hands‑on experience with P2P processes on major ERP platforms, including SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement and expense management applications.
  • Proven success in delivering P2P enhancements that drove automation and productivity.
  • Solid understanding of finance concepts such as accounts payable and cash management.
  • Experience with change and release management processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $145,600 to $209,300. Actual pay may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
