Role Description

The Senior Engineering Supervisor will manage a staff of engineers and provide technical support to them in developing designs for customer applications by various sources and monitoring results. This person will develop processes and perform technical support to production, plant management, marketing, sales, and/or other departments. Completes projects and performs project organization, definition, planning, implementation and control. Establishes and prepares technical standards and completes technology design theory and procedures.

• Impact of decisions on business operations can have a moderate to high level of impact.
• May develop departmental budgets, business plans for functional area and may recommend/determine organizational structures
• May evaluate and recommend changes in methods or procedures in own area of responsibility.
• Identifies resource needs and may develop justification.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• A minimum of 10 years experience in engineering in a datacenter manufacturing environment
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role for datacenters
• Skilled with Creo and AutoCAD
• Experience in power distribution
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and continual basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP, Teamcenter, Compas
• Knowledge in Lean manufacturing
