A Day in the Life of the Senior Enterprise Account Executive:
The Senior Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for engaging in outside sales to enterprise-level commercial customers, including significant business clients for both internet and telephone services. This role involves proactively identifying new sales opportunities, understanding customer needs, crafting proposals, and closing deals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct proactive outside sales activities, such as cold-calling and visiting potential clients, assessing needs, developing proposals, negotiating orders, and fulfilling post-sales service requirements.
- Negotiate contracts with telecommunications decision makers to drive revenue growth and customer retention.
- Oversee installation projects with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, successful launch, and customer satisfaction.
- Respond to inquiries from customers regarding information, support, proposals, pricing, etc.
- Address demand sales requests and support sales/service teams to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We Seek:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in B2B sales in a technology environment.
- Proven success in telecommunications and internet sales to end-user customers, including strategic large business and government accounts, utilizing relationship management and systems sales concepts.
- Exceptional skills in presentation, negotiation, and closing.
- Experience in building a robust business base.
- Ability to sell to C-level executives within organizations.
- Experience in systems selling, consultative sales techniques, customer needs assessment, sales opportunity initiation, and service improvement planning.
- Technical knowledge concerning network and transmission design and local access services.
- Familiarity with switched and dedicated services, as well as related end-user and carrier applications.
- Understanding of telecommunications ordering, provisioning, and billing processes.
- Knowledge of general marketing principles, tools, and processes.
- Strong decision-making abilities and customer retention skills.

The base salary for this position is $85,000 annually, with additional opportunities for bonus, benefits, and commission as applicable. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.
Commissions at plan: Targeted commissions at full attainment are $32,400. Our compensation package offers the potential for significant earnings for high performers.
