A Day in the Life of a Senior Enterprise Account Executive
Astound is actively seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive for our New York, NY office. In this role, you will spearhead outside sales to enterprise-level commercial customers, focusing on large business accounts for internet and phone services. This involves identifying new sales opportunities, understanding customer needs, crafting proposals, and closing deals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct proactive sales activities, including cold-calling, needs assessment, proposal presentation, order negotiations, and post-sales support.
- Engage with telecommunications decision makers to secure contracts, driving revenue growth and customer retention.
- Oversee installation projects across teams to ensure timely delivery, successful implementation, and high customer satisfaction.
- Address customer requests for information, support, and proposals.
- Respond promptly to demand sales inquiries.
- Collaborate with other sales/service team members to enhance customer satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven track record in telecommunications and internet sales, with experience working with strategic and large business customers and government accounts.
- Ability to engage effectively with C-level executives.
- Experience in consultative sales, customer needs analysis, and service improvement planning.
- Technical knowledge related to network design and telecommunications services.
- Thorough understanding of telecommunications ordering, provisioning, and billing processes.
- Expertise in marketing principles, tools, and methodologies.
- Strong skills in decision-making and fostering customer loyalty.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in a technology environment.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- A 2-4 year college degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

The base salary for this position in New York is $85,000 annually, complemented by bonus opportunities and commission. Our total compensation structure allows for significant earnings potential for high achievers.
Targeted commissions: Up to $32,400 at full attainment, with high-performing sales professionals having the ability to exceed targeted earnings.
