About the role
Our client, a rapidly growing leader in enterprise software solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Enterprise Account Executive to join their sales team in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, NG . This is a critical role responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key enterprise accounts, driving new business acquisition, and exceeding ambitious sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of complex sales cycles, a proven ability to build strong client partnerships, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions that address significant business challenges.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales objectives and expand market share within assigned enterprise accounts. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, effectively navigating complex organizational structures to reach key decision-makers. Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client business challenges and articulate compelling value propositions for our solutions. Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing deals. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders within enterprise organizations. Collaborate with pre-sales engineers, product specialists, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless client experience. Deliver persuasive presentations and product demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of enterprise clients. Accurately forecast sales opportunities and manage the sales pipeline effectively using CRM tools. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies. Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas and revenue targets. Participate in industry events and trade shows to represent the company and generate leads. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus. Minimum of 6-8 years of proven experience in enterprise sales, preferably within the software or technology sector. Demonstrated track record of successfully selling complex solutions to large enterprise clients and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong understanding of consultative selling methodologies and experience managing long, complex sales cycles. Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools. Strategic thinking and strong business acumen. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote productivity with in-person client engagements. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a competitive sales landscape.
