About the role

Our client, a rapidly growing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider, is looking for a highly accomplished Senior Enterprise Account Executive to spearhead their sales efforts within the Nigerian market. This is a fully remote position, offering the autonomy and flexibility to manage your territory and client relationships from anywhere. You will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and closing large enterprise deals.

As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives. You will be expected to build a robust pipeline of qualified leads through a combination of proactive prospecting, networking, and leveraging existing relationships. You will conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand complex business challenges faced by potential clients and articulate how our client's SaaS solutions can provide significant value and solve those problems. Mastery of consultative selling techniques, effective negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting client partnerships are paramount.

Key responsibilities include: Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve enterprise sales targets. Identifying and qualifying new enterprise sales opportunities within the assigned territory. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers at the C-level and VP levels. Conducting product demonstrations and delivering compelling presentations tailored to client needs. Negotiating complex contracts and closing high-value enterprise deals. Collaborating with sales engineers and customer success teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction. Staying up-to-date on market trends, competitive landscape, and industry best practices. Accurately forecasting sales pipeline and managing CRM data. Achieving and exceeding assigned sales quotas on a consistent basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise software sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in competitive markets. Experience selling SaaS solutions is highly desirable. Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential. You must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and capable of thriving in a fully remote, fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
