Senior Equipment Engineer

What to expect:

• Planning, installation, and commissioning of Wet Chemistry systems as part of the capacitive factory and plant expansion.
• Taking over the testing of EQ Cards, system hookup and coordination, system hardware startup with the respective service partner, and system release with a focus on hardware.
• Performing independent maintenance activities on the systems and training maintenance technicians.
• Ensuring high machine availability and system stability using SPC and FDC.
• Responsibility for training technician colleagues based on onboarding plans and skill passports.
• Creating and updating documentation for safety instructions for Wet Chemistry systems and updating machine hazard assessments regarding current hazard potential.
• Creating PM (preventive maintenance) instructions and CM (corrective maintenance) regulations.
• Planning spare parts inventory and storage space requirements together with the logistics department and developing proposals for cost reduction in spare parts consumption.
• Conception, specification, and realization of individual ramp-up topics as well as KPI measures in the systems and their environment in coordination with the team.
• Ensuring aspects such as economic efficiency, quality, reliability, and innovation.
• Creating analyses, correlations of KPIs, and developing countermeasures.
• Presenting results to decision-makers and customers.

What you bring:

• Completed university degree in a relevant technical field.
• Several years of professional experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry; broad knowledge in the field of Wet Chemistry.
• Experience in the maintenance and support of Wet Chemistry systems as an Equipment Engineer.
• Good methodological knowledge such as 5S, SPC, FDC, FMEA, and REFA.
• Very good German and English language skills.
