Our client, a leading recruitment consultancy, is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Executive Recruiter to join their thriving team in Zaria, Kaduna, NG . This is a critical role focused on identifying, engaging, and placing high-caliber executive-level talent across various industries. The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in executive search, a deep understanding of talent acquisition strategies for senior roles, and exceptional networking and influencing skills. You will manage end-to-end recruitment processes for C-suite, VP, and Director-level positions, building strong relationships with both clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive searches for senior-level candidates, utilizing a variety of sourcing channels, including advanced boolean search, networking, and database mining. Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans tailored to client needs for executive mandates. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, understanding their organizational structure, culture, and talent requirements. Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including in-depth interviews, reference checks, and behavioral evaluations, to ensure suitability for executive roles. Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle from initial client brief to offer negotiation and acceptance. Act as a trusted advisor to clients on market trends, talent availability, and compensation benchmarks for executive positions. Develop and nurture a pipeline of high-potential candidates for current and future executive opportunities. Represent the company professionally and effectively in client meetings, networking events, and industry forums. Collaborate with research teams to gather market intelligence and identify emerging talent pools. Negotiate complex compensation packages and facilitate offer processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices in executive search, and relevant market dynamics. Contribute to business development efforts by identifying potential new client opportunities. Mentor and guide junior members of the recruitment team, sharing expertise and best practices. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and client information in the recruitment database. Ensure a high level of confidentiality and ethical conduct throughout all recruitment activities. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proactive approach to talent acquisition. The ability to operate effectively in a hybrid work model, balancing in-office collaboration with remote work flexibility, is essential. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus. Minimum of 8 years of experience in executive search or senior-level recruitment, preferably within a consultancy environment. Demonstrated success in recruiting for C-suite, VP, and Director-level positions across diverse industries. Exceptional networking, interpersonal, and communication skills. Strong business acumen and understanding of corporate structures and leadership requirements. Proficiency in using advanced recruitment tools, ATS, and LinkedIn Recruiter. Proven ability to manage multiple complex searches simultaneously. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills. High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism. Experience working in a hybrid model or ability to adapt to one. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of local Nigerian business culture is beneficial.
