Position Overview

The Senior Expansion Account Executive will be a crucial player in growing Autodesk's Construction business by managing approximately 40 accounts. You'll be responsible for achieving sales quotas through effective upselling, add-on sales, and cross-selling. This remote position reports to the Mid Market Sales Manager and primarily serves the NY/NJ metro area, with some accounts located in eastern Canada. Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture your book of business by selling new products and expanding existing renewals to meet quarterly targets.
  • Lead account strategy and oversee the sales cycle for new sales and renewals.
  • Generate a robust opportunity pipeline each week to ensure you meet your quarterly and annual quota targets.
  • Represent Autodesk with excellence: lead client presentations, establish trusted advisor relationships, and participate in marketing events/conferences.
  • Embrace a culture of teamwork; collaborate effectively with your extended account team, which includes Business Development Representatives, Technical Solutions Executives, Customer Success Managers, and channel partners.
  • Provide accurate forecasts for your business and lead strategic account planning for your accounts in collaboration with the extended account team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with a proven track record of quota attainment.
  • Experience in enterprise software sales, preferably within the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or Manufacturing industries.
  • Skilled in prospecting and engaging with C-level contacts.
  • Demonstrated expertise in closing deals and negotiation.

Salary Transparency

Our competitive compensation package includes a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for U.S.-based sales roles between $208,100 and $373,010. OTE consists of base salary plus sales commission targets. Offers will be personalized based on your experience and location, potentially exceeding this range. Additional components of our compensation package may comprise annual cash bonuses, commissions, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
