Your Duties
- Own and ensure accuracy of Engineering & Digital financial closing, including validation of accruals, cost allocations, and capitalization logic, in full compliance with Group Controlling standards
- Lead financial planning and forecasting cycles for Engineering & Digital, including operational reviews and close alignment with Engineering leadership, Group FP&A, and other Finance teams
- Independently validate planning assumptions, differentiate most likely vs. best-case scenarios, and proactively identify financial risks, constraints, and improvement opportunities
- Act as a trusted finance business partner to Engineering & Digital management, providing constructive challenge and decision-oriented recommendations
- Drive financial transparency across Engineering & Digital, identify cost optimization levers, and support informed decision-making through structured financial analyses
- Perform financial validation of R&D programs, including guidance on cost capitalization criteria and accounting treatment
- Support the annual R&D funding submissions to Austrian state authorities (FFG), ensuring financial accuracy, consistency, and compliance
- Contribute to the redesign of BI and KPI reporting for Engineering & Digital, enabling scalable, transparent, and insightful reporting solutions
- Continuously improve controlling processes, tools, and governance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Your Qualifications
- Achelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
- Relevant professional experience in controlling, finance, or accounting, ideally within an industrial, engineering, or technology-driven environment
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to link financial outcomes to operational performance drivers and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Confident communicator with assertiveness and stakeholder management skills, experienced in working across functions and management levels
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel; experience with financial systems and BI tools is a plus
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with recurring peak periods during closing and planning cycles
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented mindset with a strong business-partnering attitude
