Senior Financial Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a growing international business with operations across Italy. This role offers great exposure to multi-entity accounting within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

The Role

You will take ownership of day-to-day accounting across multiple Italian entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting key compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities across multiple entities
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Perform bank and supplier reconciliations
• Prepare monthly accruals and support month-end close
• Maintain and reconcile intercompany balances
• Monitor cash flow and manage payments
• Support tax compliance, including VAT, WHT, IMU and F24 submissions
• Assist with statutory accounts and local reporting requirements

About You

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
• 2 to 4 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
• Experience working in multi-entity or accounting firm environments
• Strong knowledge of IAS/IFRS and Italian GAAP
• Fluent in Italian with intermediate English
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
