We're seeking a Senior Financial Accountant committed to supporting fixed asset accounting, GRIR processes, inventory management, and month-end closing activities. This vital role is crucial for accurate financial reporting and maintaining strong internal controls at the site level.
What You'll Gain From This Role
- Timely and accurate reporting of financial transactions, including journal entries, month-end account reconciliations, and GRIR reconciliation.
- Skills in researching and analyzing general ledger variances to ensure financial accuracy and provide insights.
- Management of the Fixed Asset process, overseeing accounting tasks and generating insightful reports.
- Leadership in inventory reconciliation processes, including tracking purchase orders, monthly reporting, and supporting materials forecasting.
- Ability to provide proactive analysis and support within the finance team, including KPI reporting, ad-hoc data requests, and project tasks.
- Engagement in maintaining SOX compliance documentation, supporting compliance initiatives, and preparing materials for audits.
- Collaboration with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate completion of all tasks.
What You Need to Bring
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and at least 3 years of accounting experience.
- Familiarity with Oracle and/or OneStream systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- CPA or CMA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication skills to present information and respond to inquiries from various stakeholders.
- A collaborative, proactive mindset, eager for professional growth.
- Willingness to travel quarterly to our Millington, MD location if hired in a different area.

Compensation Information
Our compensation range for this position is between $76,000 and $141,100, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, eligibility for annual incentives may apply.
