Role
As part of its development, our client is recruiting a Senior Financial Accountant (M/F) to structure and manage the accounting and financial function at a national level. A strategic position within a committed and expert company. Reporting to the France & Belgium Finance Manager, your missions include:
Responsibilities
- Supervision of all general and analytical accounting, including all monthly and annual closing operations and the underlying processes necessary for their completion up to the validation of balance sheets and tax returns.
- Implementation and analysis of financial indicators, reporting to the Group according to US GAAP standards, and proposal of innovative strategies to increase profitability.
- Participation in the preparation of budgetary exercises.
- Coordination of internal and external audits with various stakeholders.
- Management of administrative, legal, and social obligations, ensuring tax compliance (VAT, local taxes, tax declarations) in partnership with tax experts.
- Identification and implementation of improvements to accounting processes to optimize efficiency and quality of deliverables.
- Participation in cross-functional projects, such as the deployment of financial tools, digitalization, or regulatory changes.
- Preparation and supervision of payroll elements (50 employees).
Qualifications
- Graduated from higher education in finance, accounting, or management control, with proven experience in a similar role.
- Proficient with both French standards and international frameworks such as IFRS or US GAAP.
- Autonomous in managing accounting, tax, and reporting processes, and capable of interacting with internal and external stakeholders in a demanding context.
- Recognized for your rigor, organizational skills, and analytical mind, you can manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proactive: you identify areas for improvement, propose process optimizations, and actively contribute to the implementation of cross-functional projects.
- Excellent command of Excel and experience working with an ERP system; knowledge of Dynamics AX is a plus.
- Professional level of English (B2 minimum) required for communication with Group stakeholders internationally.
