Responsibilities

What tasks await you: As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will responsibly complement our Accounting Team. With your experience and strategic approach, you will significantly contribute to the further development of our financial processes.

• Technical Responsibility: Together with the team, you will participate in the support of accounting processes (accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets accounting) and support operational processes in day-to-day business.
• Closings: In collaboration with the team, you will contribute your expertise to the preparation and coordination of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and, if applicable, IFRS.
• Tax Expertise: You will support the team in the tax assessment of facts and circumstances, particularly in the areas of VAT and income tax, and provide your expertise in an advisory capacity.
• Consulting and Optimization: Together with the team, you will act as a point of contact for external service providers such as tax advisors, auditors, and authorities, and participate in the continuous optimization of accounting processes.
• Processes and Digitalization: You will actively work with your colleagues on the further development of existing processes.

Requirements

What we expect from you:

• Experience: Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in a senior position.
• Technical Competence: Sound knowledge of HGB, ideally also of international tax and financial law (IFRS is an advantage).
• Education: Completed commercial apprenticeship with further training as a Bilanzbuchhalter (m/f/d) or a degree in Finance/Tax/Business.
• Analytical Strength: Numbers are your passion, and you work precisely and solution-oriented. Accounting is your passion.
• Digitalization: You are proficient in MS Office and common accounting systems and proactively drive the digital transformation of our processes.
• Communication: You communicate confidently in German and have good English skills.
• Teamwork: You understand collaboration as mutual support, actively contribute, and reliably support your colleagues.
