Senior Financial Analyst (12 month contract)

About the Opportunity

• Assist preparing month end financial statements under IFRS
• Month end full cycle accounting - journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, etc.
• Assist in preparing the budgets, forecasts by business unit/sector/product line/etc.
• Support Senior Management Team and Corporate Group with in-depth analysis, identifying risks and opportunities
• Assist with monthly presentations to Senior Management Team
• Recommends financial actions by assessing options in relation to organization goals

About You

• CPA designation or close to designation
• 4+ years of progressive Operational FP&A & full cycle accounting experience
• Capable of working with peers and associates from other departments in a proactive and constructive manner.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to establish priorities with minor direction in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters appropriately.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and prioritize, ensuring timely and accurate reporting within restricted time constraints.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrates ownership of assigned responsibilities with a positive self-starter attitude
