Our client is an internationally active industrial group with locations in Germany, China, and the USA. The products are used in stable, broadly diversified markets – from shipping and energy supply to oil & gas. The company is currently in an exciting transitional phase with a focus on operational excellence and the increased use of modern IT and AI solutions. Driven by a clear growth trajectory – including rising energy demand and the compatibility of products with alternative fuels – our client is now looking for a (Senior) Financial Analyst (m/f/d) who will report directly to the Group CFO and act as a strategic sparring partner.
Responsibilities
- Regular analysis of key company figures (including EBITDA, Working Capital, OEE) and development of targeted measures based on the insights gained
- Development of well-founded business cases – from investment projects (CapEx) and make-or-buy decisions to price and scenario analyses
- Quality assurance of the entire reporting cycle (actual/plan/forecast) and continuous development of KPI structures and BI dashboards
- Sparring partner for the CFO through structured decision-making templates and convincing presentation materials
- Active participation in BI and ERP projects and ensuring a reliable, consistent data basis
Qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in controlling or FP&A, preferably in an industrial environment
- Sound knowledge of Excel and common BI tools
- Familiarity with HGB and/or IFRS as well as production-related KPIs
- Strong analytical skills combined with strong communication skills and a structured way of working; confident demeanor at management level
- Experience in multi-plant structures and intercultural competence in dealing with European, Chinese, and North American partners are advantageous

Requirements
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Controlling oder FP&A, vorzugsweise in einem industriellen Umfeld
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in Excel sowie gängigen BI-Tools
- Vertrautheit mit HGB und/oder IFRS sowie mit produktionsbezogenen Kennzahlen
- Ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten kombiniert mit starker Kommunikationskompetenz und strukturierter Arbeitsweise; sicheres Auftreten auf Managementebene
