The Senior Financial Analyst, Program Finance is assigned specific programs, develops program plans and monitors program performance against cost and schedule goals. Analyzes and reports variances to the plan and prepares salient forecasts for review by finance and program management.
Responsibilities
- Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements both internally and externally
- Report & present financials to management
- Serve as a business partner to the cross‑functional program team
- Work with the contracts function for funding, billings, and other contractual items
- Develop and monitor program risks and opportunities
- Develop financial forecasts (QBRs and IBPs) and analyze estimates at completion (EACs)
- Forecast program sales, income, cash flow, backlog, manpower and facilities requirements; ensure accurate compilation of program data in the business unit forecast
- Provide program review support
- Act as a significant program team contributor; coordinate team meetings and reviews
- Ensure compliance to internal controls while seeking out opportunities for continuous improvement
- Participate on or contribute to process/quality improvement teams and/or initiatives; identify and recommend improvements to processes, practices, and materials which lead to positive results in quality; support and implement performance‑driven changes in processes and procedures
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Minimum Education – Bachelor’s Degree
- 4+ years of financial analysis or accounting experience
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Sound planning, time management and organization skills
- Sound interpersonal skills
- Strong demonstrated command of Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of an organization
- Make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations
Pay Information
Full‑Time Salary Range: $75,254 – $127,930
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
