Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and analytical senior financial analyst to join our growing team. This role will support financial reporting, forecasting, operational analysis, and strategic decision-making across the business. The ideal candidate is not only technically strong, but also a proactive and intellectually curious problem-solver who is eager to learn the business and understand the operational drivers behind financial performance. This individual should be comfortable asking thoughtful questions, challenging assumptions, and translating financial and operational data into actionable insights that support decision-making in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and own recurring financial reporting and analysis to support forecasting, operational planning, and strategic decision-making across the business.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, intake, recruitment, and leadership, to analyze business performance and provide actionable financial insights.
• Perform ad hoc financial and operational analyses to support strategic decision-making, including scenario modeling and trend analysis.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare commentary explaining variances between actual results, forecasts, and prior periods.
• Support acquisition-related initiatives, including integration support and preparation of pro forma budgets.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process, including collaboration with operational leaders to develop assumptions and evaluate performance expectations.
• Identify and implement opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and improve financial reporting and analytical processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or a related field
• 3-4 years of Big 4 (or similar public accounting) experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in Excel
