Job Description
- You support top management and our business units in financial and strategic decisions and accompany the establishment of group-wide strategic controlling.
- You will eventually take on a sparring role for individual business areas and support data-based decisions through sound numerical understanding and market intelligence analyses – also in the context of investment, M&A, and AI projects in the business units.
- You independently conduct company and investment valuations (PPA, Impairment Tests, Cost of Capital, Multiples, DCF analyses) considering IFRS.
- You support and analyze budget, forecast, and investment processes at group level and derive concrete recommendations for action from them.
- You create management and supervisory board presentations as well as ad-hoc analyses on results, key figures, markets, and investments.
- You work on projects to further develop group-wide controlling processes and drive the integration of new technologies, including AI-supported process improvements.
- You work closely with the departments Group Accounting, Tax, Treasury, M&A, and Strategy.
Profile
- Successfully completed studies in business administration with a focus on Finance, Controlling, or Auditing.
- At least 4 years of professional experience – ideally in the consulting area of one of the major auditing firms (e.g., Valuation, Transaction Advisory, Audit), in Corporate Finance, or in strategic controlling of an international company.
- Sound knowledge in company valuation (DCF, Multiples, PPA, Impairment Tests, Cost of Capital) considering IFRS.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- High degree of initiative, strong communication skills, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Confident use of Excel; ideally complemented by experience with SAP and OneStream.
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
