About

Join the OCI Finance team as a key contributor where you'll support financial analysts by delivering essential financial data and reporting for the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Your role will involve collaborating with analysts to define and implement changes to the Profit and Cost Management (PCM) system's hierarchy and allocation rules. Additionally, you’ll partner with engineering teams to design and execute new financial data integrations and transformations. Your focus will be on optimizing the current financial system and enhancing operational processes for quicker outcomes and greater efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the Oracle Profitability and Cost Management (PCM) platform, handling its design, configuration, and ongoing upkeep of allocation logic, hierarchies, and data structures seamlessly.
  • Develop and drive a strategic multi-year roadmap for the allocation and profitability capabilities, ensuring alignment with business growth and overarching finance and cloud priorities.
  • Enhance the speed and reliability of month-end and quarter-end processes by identifying automation and streamlining opportunities, fostering standardization across operations.
  • Work closely with technical teams to guide the PCM system development pipeline, articulating clear business requirements and facilitating project prioritization as well as resource coordination.
  • Lead requirement gathering and delivery for platform enhancements, translating business needs into actionable specifications and managing the implementation and testing with engineering teams.
  • Drive system data governance and alignment among stakeholders, including preparing leadership materials, promoting key discussions, and ensuring timely decision-making.
  • Support finance users in enabling self-service reporting and analysis using tools like Smart View and Oracle Analytics Cloud, offering troubleshooting and best-practice guidance.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in finance or business analytics.
  • BA/BS in Finance or related Business field preferred.
  • Extensive data reporting and systems management experience.
  • Proven business partnering experience.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Hands-on SQL query writing skills are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $84,500 to $178,100 per annum, potentially with bonuses and equity.
