Senior FMCG Product Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior FMCG Product Manager to join their dynamic team in Kano, Kano, NG . This role is essential for developing and executing product strategies that drive growth and market share within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from market research and concept generation to product development, launch, and ongoing performance management. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the FMCG market, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes. You will work closely with R&D, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure successful product innovation and delivery. Key responsibilities include conducting market analysis, identifying unmet consumer needs, defining product roadmaps, and developing go-to-market plans. You will manage product P&Ls, set pricing strategies, and oversee promotional activities. Strong analytical skills are required to track product performance, analyze sales data, and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and leadership skills are necessary to effectively influence cross-functional teams and present strategies to senior management. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required; an MBA is a plus. Significant experience in product management within the FMCG industry is mandatory.
