- Own key components of the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, including consolidation of inputs, analysis of assumptions, identification of risks and opportunities, and recommendations to leadership on tradeoffs and scenarios.
- Perform detailed variance analysis, including Actual vs. Plan and Forecast vs. Forecast comparisons, to explain performance trends, isolate key business drivers, and recommend corrective actions; synthesize findings into clear narratives for senior management.
- Serve as a primary finance partner to assigned functions or business units, working with department leaders to understand operating performance, monitor key KPIs, and provide financial guidance that supports growth, cost management, and operational effectiveness.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reporting packages for senior management and executive leadership, ensuring information is accurate, concise, and decision-ready, and that insights are translated into clear recommendations.
- Lead or co-lead process improvement initiatives by streamlining reporting, enhancing financial tools, improving data quality, and increasing the efficiency and scalability of FP&A processes.
- Conduct complex ad hoc analysis on profitability, investment decisions, business cases, and other strategic initiatives to help leaders evaluate options and make informed tradeoffs; provide perspective on financial and operational implications.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and other business partners to ensure forecasts and reporting reflect current business conditions and priorities, and help align stakeholders around key financial plans and outcomes.
- Provide informal guidance and mentorship to more junior analysts by sharing best practices in modeling, analysis, and communication.
- Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
