Senior Front-End Engineer (React)

About

We’re working with a global financial services company building a modern, AI-driven workflow platform. This is a senior front-end role focused purely on UI and user experience using React and TypeScript.

You’ll join a small innovation team and work closely with product and business stakeholders in Dublin. This is not a typical front-end role. You’ll be shaping how the product looks and feels, not just building from specs.

What you’ll be doing

• Build high-quality UI using React and TypeScript
• Turn ideas into working prototypes quickly using AI tools
• Work closely with product teams to shape user experience
• Improve and influence UI decisions across the platform
• Collaborate with backend teams for integration
• Support junior engineers through code reviews

Must have

• 5+ years of experience as software engineering
• 3+ years of strong experience with React and TypeScript
• Proven track record building user-focused interfaces
• Comfortable using AI tools to speed up development
• Able to prototype ideas quickly and iterate fast
• Confident communicator who can challenge and influence decisions
• Product mindset with a strong sense of what good UX looks like
• Experience with Docker
• Exposure to AWS services and practices or modern architectures
• Background working before and after AI tools became mainstream
