The Senior Front-End Engineer (React Lead) drives the front‑end architecture, component library, and implementation of the new • *React-based platform**
. This role leads FE development for and supports PIM/DAM retrofitting and i18n in later releases. They will work closely with UX, backend (Drupal), DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high‑performance, accessible, scalable experiences. • *Key Responsibilities** • Lead architecture and development of the React front end, including component architecture, state management, and reusable pattern libraries. • Translate UX wireframes and design system tokens into pixel‑perfect, accessible components. • Build high‑performance, mobile‑optimized UIs aligned to Core Web Vitals targets (LCP, CLS thresholds). • Integrate React components with Drupal APIs/JSON:API layer and future PIM/DAM feeds. • Oversee complex templates such as product pages, parametric search UI, documentation pages, and role-based journeys. • Implement SEO, structured data, semantic markup, and schema for engineer-friendly discoverability. • Guide integration and testing of React with localization/i18n frameworks during R4. • Support DevOps in CI/CD integration, performance budgets, and code quality automation. • Mentor junior FE engineers, perform code reviews, and maintain coding standards. • *Required Qualifications** • 7+ years React/JavaScript experience, including Next.js/Vite/modern bundlers. • Strong expertise in building enterprise-scale component libraries (Storybook or equivalent). • Experience integrating React with headless CMS backends (Drupal preferred). • Deep understanding of performance optimization, Lighthouse improvements, and Core Web Vitals. • Strong TypeScript, accessibility, responsive design, and testing (Jest/RTL) skills. • *Preferred** • Experience in B2B/technical product environments. • Familiarity with Algolia/AI search UI patterns, Segment CDP, and localization frameworks.
Requirements
- 7+ years React/JavaScript experience, including Next.js/Vite/modern bundlers.
- Strong expertise in building enterprise-scale component libraries (Storybook or equivalent).
- Experience integrating React with headless CMS backends (Drupal preferred).
- Deep understanding of performance optimization, Lighthouse improvements, and Core Web Vitals.
