Senior Frontend Developer, AI-Powered Web Applications

Role Overview

As a (Senior) React Developer for an international project in Chennai, your main responsibility will be to transform AI agent prototypes developed by the data science team into robust, scalable, and maintainable user-facing web applications. You will collaborate closely with data scientists and back-end engineers to ensure accurate representation of AI model behavior in the UI/UX. Additionally, you will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate proof-of-concept AI agent capabilities and workflows into production-ready React-based user interfaces
• Design and implement scalable front-end architectures using React to ensure maintainability, extensibility, and high performance
• Build responsive and accessible web applications presenting GenAI agent outputs, workflows, and insights clearly and intuitively
• Integrate front-end applications with back-end services, APIs, and Azure-based GenAI workflows
• Address error handling, loading states, resiliency, logging, and front-end monitoring to ensure production readiness
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented front-end code while reducing technical debt during the productionization process
• Optimize application performance, bundle size, and rendering efficiency across complex GenAI-driven interfaces
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to front-end engineering standards, and best practices
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across React applications, browser environments, and API integrations

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor or Master degree
• +6 years of professional experience in front-end development, with a strong emphasis on React and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
