About the AI Labs team

We are AI Labs team, the applied AI department at Insud Pharma. We are a team of 30 professionals (AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Backend Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Product Managers) working across the full breadth of the company, building products and systems that directly inform and shape decision-making.

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with a strong technical foundation and extensive experience in modern frontend technologies, particularly React. You will work on building high-quality interfaces and applications, translating complex business and technical requirements into intuitive, efficient, and scalable user experiences.

You will take part in frontend architecture decisions, contribute to the definition and evolution of technical standards, design systems, and component libraries, and collaborate closely with backend, product, and design teams to build robust and maintainable end-to-end solutions.

We are seeking someone curious enough to explore new tools, frameworks, and best practices within the frontend ecosystem; rigorous enough to ensure code quality, performance, and accessibility; and autonomous enough to take full ownership of solutions and drive them from concept to production with real impact

AI Labs operates with a startup mindset within Insud Pharma. The department is young, and the culture reflects that: flat, collaborative, and fast-moving. Beyond the AI Engineering team, you will work alongside Data Scientists, DevOps Engineers, and Product Managers who are equally committed to delivering high-quality work.

We hold regular demo days where teams present their work, as well as whiteboard sessions where we tackle problems together. The cross-disciplinary dynamic is genuinely strong. The office is located in central Madrid (Chamberí, near Eloy Gonzalo), well connected and situated in a vibrant part of the city.

The challenge!

• Design and develop modern web applications using React and React Native.
• Build scalable, reusable, and high-performance user interfaces.
• Translate business requirements into high-quality user experiences.
• Design and maintain design systems and UI component libraries.
• Manage application state efficiently.
• Integrate REST APIs and collaborate with backend teams on clear and maintainable contracts.
• Optimize application performance (rendering, loading time, bundle size).
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions (structure, modularity, scalability).
• Apply best practices in accessibility and usability.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams.
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices.
• Contribute to defining technical standards and evolving the frontend stack.
• Mentor and support junior developers.

What do you need?

• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Strong experience with React, React Native and the modern frontend ecosystem.
• Solid knowledge of modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with state management solutions.
• Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS (responsive design, layouts, best practices).
• Experience with frontend development tools (bundlers, build tools, etc.).
• Familiarity with frontend testing (Jest, React Testing Library, or similar).
• Experience using Git in collaborative environments.
• Understanding of software development best practices (clean code, frontend architecture).
• Ability to work autonomously with strong ownership and a product-oriented mindset.
