We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our User Acquisition team! With our current developer moving into an Engineering Manager role, we need an experienced pro to take the lead on building fast, high‑quality user experiences. You’ll work with modern tech, use AI tools to boost efficiency, and confidently tackle both new features and legacy code. During onboarding and training by our specialists, you will quickly take over responsibility, manage your own projects, and contribute towards making an impact on our mission “Makes Sports Happen”.

Working time: Full‑time (35 h/week, every second Friday off)
Planned start: September/October 2025
Location: Vienna, Austria

Your Tasks

  • Build and improve frontend functionality that drives user engagement on our web applications.
  • Own client applications and ensure scalability, testability, maintainability, and reusability are key drivers behind your technical implementations.
  • Contribute to the design system and ensure alignment across teams and domains.
  • Work closely with backend developers in your cross‑functional team to ensure fast delivery.
  • Gain, challenge, and discuss user insights with the Product Manager and Product Designer to build solutions that make a difference.
  • Use pair programming, code reviews, and other techniques to share best practices and continuously improve code quality.
  • Explore and implement AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, enhance code quality, and streamline development workflows.
  • Stay up‑to‑date on the latest technology trends and use those insights to find technical solutions to company problems.
  • Bring your perspective, experience, and drive to the team and contribute actively to a supportive, team‑first environment.

Your Profile

  • 6+ years of experience developing web applications in mid‑ or large‑scale production systems using a major programming language.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and platforms relevant to frontend development (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI GPT, Claude, or similar).
  • Experience developing web applications with React and TypeScript.
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks (preferably Next.js, Remix).
  • A track record of owning frontend applications and delivering features from idea to production.
  • Strong sense for product usability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a nice‑to‑have).
  • Experience consuming information via GraphQL endpoints.

What’s in it for you?

  • Minimum yearly gross salary of EUR 63 k (full‑time, 35 h/week; adjusted based on experience).
  • Flexible, no‑core‑hours schedule – you control your own work hours.
  • Hybrid work setup: work from a cozy home office or from our office in the heart of Vienna.
  • Every second Friday off, giving you a 35‑hour work week.
  • Monthly sports budget to book your favorite activities at Eversports.
  • €500 training budget and 5 extra vacation days for further training and self‑improvement.
  • Quarterly “Day to Explore” for personal projects or interests.
  • State‑of‑the‑art equipment (Apple, Windows, or Linux).
  • Company‑paid monthly lunch.
  • After‑work sport activities and cross‑national team events.
  • Join a passionate, international, innovative, and sporty team – work feels like play!
