Introduction

Our client is seeking a Full Stack Developer (Advanced).

This role is pivotal in providing cutting-edge IT solutions to global operations, specifically serving as a facilitator for the industrialization of innovations in in-house logistics (ILOG) within the Group IT Hub South Africa.

Position Details:

• Contract Start Date: 01-07-2026

• Contract End Date: 31-12-2028

• Location: Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office Rotation

• Role Group: DevOps

• Experience Required: 4-6 years related experience

Product / Team Context: ILOG focuses on increasing the automation level of in-house logistics by integrating and operating autonomous transport systems and robotics applications. The goal is to industrialize these innovations into standard operations across global production sites.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant IT or Computer Sciences tertiary degree.

• Relevant IT certification.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the IT sector.

• Experience managing large cloud/hybrid environments.

• Relevant Azure certifications are a plus.

Essential Skills:

• Strong experience with Csharp and .NET Core.

• Solid understanding of Azure services (App Services, AKS, Key Vault).

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm charts.

• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD.

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and automation.

• Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.

• Version control with Git.

• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

Advantageous Skills:

• Frontend development experience, especially with Angular.

• Experience with Docker.

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging in cloud environments.

• Exposure to Agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of IAC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for 24/7 operations as your main focus which includes incident handling and resolution

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Csharp and .NET Core.

• Build and deploy cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.

• Develop and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Collaborate with DevOps to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments.

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure issues.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
