About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Cloud Engineer/Architect to be a vital contributor in the development and maintenance of the full-stack services for Shoreline AI's SAAS platform. You will join a dedicated core team situated in the San Francisco Bay Area, complementing our engineering efforts in Pune.

Must Haves
- Strong foundational knowledge of Computer Science and Software Engineering, particularly in Full-Stack Cloud development.
- In-depth understanding of full-stack cloud services architecture and technologies, including storage solutions (object storage, SQL/NoSQL databases), computing (containers, virtual machines, FaaS, workflow orchestration), and API Development (REST, GraphQL).
- Familiarity with AI tools and a strategic approach to their incorporation throughout the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining full-stack services.
- Willingness to work at our headquarters in Campbell, California.
- Must be authorized to work in the US (US Citizen/Green Card). We may consider H1-B transfers for exceptional candidates but cannot support new H1-B applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement performance-optimized, responsive front-end interfaces using a contemporary tech stack (React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Vite).
- Develop APIs following industry best practices.
- Create back-end services and APIs with a modern Python tech stack (e.g., FastAPI, Pydantic v2), integrating with SQL/NoSQL databases and data lakes.
- Own the end-to-end design and architectural process.
- Ensure security, scalability, and efficiency through performance tuning and load testing.
- Adopt and promote software development best practices, including CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and automated testing.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and development methodologies.
- Maintain a strong customer-centric approach ensuring technical solutions delight our customers.
- Engage in architecture, design, and code reviews, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with security protocols.
- Foster effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Desired Skills
- 5+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing full-stack solutions on AWS.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS) along with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Solid back-end development experience using server-side languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, Go).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficient in database systems, with experience working with both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
