Role

• Development of platform-independent mission systems with a focus on networked mission management solutions and the control of unmanned aerial vehicles
• Independent implementation and guidance of complex software development tasks in an interdisciplinary project team
• Planning, execution, and documentation of software architectures, development efforts, and development processes
• Definition, review, and verification of software requirements in compliance with relevant norms and standards
• Mentoring, knowledge transfer, and active co-design of software designs within the team
• Technical and professional support in the sales and bidding phase for successful project implementation

Qualifications

• Completed studies in a technical or scientific field or comparable qualification with several years of experience in web and software development
• Sound knowledge of compiler and interpreter languages (VUE, NUXT, TypeScript, Node.js) as well as experience with build and test frameworks
• Proficient use of shell languages (Bash, Tcsh, Windows Batch, Powershell) and architectural knowledge of Linux-based systems (systemd, Networking, udev, Device-Driver)
• Experience in full-stack development (Frontend & Backend) under Linux, Windows, and Web, considering common architectural standards and best practices
• Additional knowledge desirable: Network programming, geospatial and video processing, virtualization (VM, Container), and version control systems (Git, Subversion)
• Analytical and conceptual thinking skills, teamwork, high customer and service orientation, as well as very good German and good English skills
