Senior Full Stack Developer

Overview

Join GovCIO as a Senior Full Stack Developer, specializing in Spring Boot and Angular. Be a pivotal member as a Technical Lead / Team Lead, guiding a talented team in delivering impactful enterprise-scale applications for the EEOC. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and code applications using various languages, including Java and Spring Boot, while ensuring compliance with software standards.
• Maintain and improve existing applications, and implement design modifications based on user needs.
• Analyze system requirements including hardware/software needs, and have a hand in resolving operational challenges.
• Engage in code reviews to ensure high standards in software development practices.
• Create and update technical documentation and user guides in alignment with industry standards.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or comparable qualifications.

• Clearance Required: Public Trust
• Experience Level: At least 10 years in software development, showing a successful history as a Technical Lead / Team Lead in enterprise-scale projects.
• Core Technical Skills:
• Backend: Expertise in Java (8/11/17) and Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Frontend: Proficient in Angular (12+), TypeScript, and UI/UX best practices.
• Database: Strong experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and familiarity with NoSQL.
• DevOps: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Testing & Quality: Strong advocate for TDD and BDD.
• Agile Practices: Experienced in Agile/Scrum methodologies, and familiar with relevant tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Leadership: Proven ability to mentor and lead teams of 5-10+ engineers.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Salary Range

USD $115,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
