About Us

We are the Data Analytics department, uniting 18 specialists across Data Engineering, Analytics & Reporting (BI), and Data Science (AI) teams. Together, we make data usable throughout the company by building reliable data pipelines, developing meaningful reports for process control and optimization, implementing practical AI models, and automating workflows using data and tools. Our goal is to holistically and measurably improve processes and enable well-founded, data-driven decisions. We consistently use automation internally to create space for new topics and the further development of existing solutions, rather than investing time in manual management of completed projects. Simultaneously, we benefit from short decision-making paths and ample room for professional and technological advancement.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Development: You develop tailor-made software solutions that integrate data and AI functionalities into new or existing systems, thereby sustainably improving processes. You will accompany the entire development process – from architecture and implementation to productive deployment.
• API & System Integration: You implement complex interfaces, develop your own microservices, and ensure the reliable networking of heterogeneous systems and data sources.
• Bringing AI to Practice: You evaluate, integrate, and operationalize AI models into existing or newly developed systems to automate concrete use cases using data and tools. Additionally, you will support the operation and further development of existing and newly developed models.
• Shaping the Tech Stack: You independently make technical architectural decisions, evaluate new frameworks, and implement them yourself.
• Perspective & Responsibility: As our department dynamically evolves, we offer you the opportunity to take on personnel responsibility (e.g., in a leadership role) beyond technical project management, provided you demonstrate the necessary performance and interest.

Qualifications

• Motivation First: Your intrinsic motivation to independently learn new technologies, tools, and procedures is more important to us than perfect mastery of a specific stack or a particular career path. You are eager for continuous development!
• Your Background: You have a completed degree (Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or similar) or a comparable education with relevant professional experience in software or data development.
• Technical Know-How: You are proficient in Python and have solid experience in developing web applications and APIs (e.g., with FastAPI, Flask, React, or Node.js). You also have sound knowledge of working with databases (SQL). It is important to us that you already have experience in several of these areas and are keen to learn more.
• AI Affinity: Ideally, you have already gained practical experience with the use and integration of AI solutions or machine learning models.
• What Sets You Apart: You impress with a structured way of working, strong communication skills at various levels, teamwork, and high initiative.
• Language: Fluent German language skills (min. C1) complete your profile.
