This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys taking ownership from concept to deployment. From backend services in .NET to sleek, responsive frontends in Next.js, you will work across the full stack to build systems that matter.

Technical Requirements

Backend:

• C# / .NET 9 - idiomatic, modern C# (records, pattern matching, nullable reference types, source generators where appropriate)
• ASP.NET Core - middleware, minimal or controller APIs, authentication / authorization, DIEF
• Core 9 - migrations, change tracking, query optimisation, raw SQL when needed
• MediatR / CQRS - command/query separation, pipeline behaviours
• MassTransit - message-based integration, consumers, outbox patterns
• SignalR - real-time push over WebSockets

Frontend:

• TypeScript, React 19
• Next.js 16 - App Router, Server Components, Server Actions, caching model
• Tailwind CSS 4, shadcn/ui
• TanStack Query v5 for data fetching and cache
• Familiarity with modern bundling and Turbopack

Compensation

Reference Number for this position is MAT61305 which is a permanent position offering a cost to company salary of up to R1.4m per annum depending on experience and ability.
