Senior Full-Stack Engineer (React, Node.js) (+ Equity) at pre-seed robotics infrastructure startup

About The Role

Join as an early technical hire to shape product, architecture, and engineering culture, shipping end-to-end features for robotics infrastructure. You'll have real ownership, working on operator dashboards, backend services, AI/ML pipelines, and real-time systems that connect edge devices to cloud intelligence.

What You'll Be Doing

• Shape the product, architecture, and engineering culture
• Ship end-to-end features including operator dashboards and backend services
• Develop AI/ML pipelines and real-time systems
• Connect edge devices to cloud intelligence
• Ensure operators remain in control

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years building and operating production systems
• Experience with full-stack development (UI, APIs, data, deployment)
• Comfortable with infrastructure and cloud deployments
• Experience with real-time distributed systems
• Ability to take ownership and communicate clearly
• Strong engineering judgment with React, Node.js, and Python
• Proficiency in Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD

Nice to Have

• Robotics familiarity (ROS2, autonomy stacks, or fleet tooling)
• A strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail
• Security-minded engineering (authn/authz, audit logs, threat modeling basics)
• Experience productionizing AI/ML systems
• Experience with defense, government, or critical infrastructure deployments

Compensation & Benefits

• CHF 100,000 – 120,000 + meaningful equity
