Your Role

Next move @ Deka – develop crypto solutions for tomorrow's financial market.

Take on technical responsibility, work with modern blockchain technologies, and shape the future of digital assets together with strong teams in a regulated, highly relevant environment.

What awaits you:

• Technical Application Responsibility: You will be responsible for the architecture, functionality, and further development of applications and platforms in the area of crypto and digital assets – especially in the context of outsourced technical solutions at our subsidiary S Broker – ensuring stability, performance, and security.
• Management of External Services: You will be responsible for the technical management and monitoring of outsourced IT services at S Broker and ensure the implementation of business and technical requirements.
• Software Development & Integration: You will develop new features and interfaces for crypto applications (including PWAs), integrate blockchain technologies and smart contracts into existing systems, and actively participate in the conception and implementation of innovative solutions in the digital assets sector.
• Quality & Engineering Excellence: You will conduct code reviews, be responsible for testing, and actively contribute to ensuring high software quality.
• Strategic Contribution: You will support the further development of DekaBank's crypto strategy, analyze new technologies and trends in the blockchain, cryptocurrency, and digital assets space, and work closely with interdisciplinary teams.

What you bring:

• You have a completed degree in (business) computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• You have sound knowledge of blockchain technologies (e.g., Ethereum) and the environment of cryptocurrencies and digital assets.
• You have experience in software development with programming languages such as Java, Python, or comparable technologies.
• You have experience in operating and further developing applications, ideally in the financial or crypto sector.
• You have experience working with outsourced IT solutions and a good understanding of regulatory requirements in the digital assets and financial technologies sector.
