Senior Full Stack / Front End Developer (Contract Role)

Project XIII Staffing is partnering with a large public sector digital services program to hire a Senior Full Stack / Front End Developer (Contract Role) based in Ontario. This role will support the development of secure, scalable enterprise applications within a regulated, high-security environment.

The Opportunity

The Senior Full Stack / Front End Developer will contribute to a major digital transformation initiative focused on modernizing enterprise systems and improving citizen-facing digital services. This is a contract role within a public sector environment, working alongside technical and business teams in an Agile delivery model.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain front-end applications (React, Angular, or similar frameworks)
• Build and support back-end services, APIs, and system integrations
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews
• Support testing, debugging, deployment, and release activities
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and accessibility standards
• Optimize application performance and user experience
• Provide production support and system enhancements

Key Performance Indicators

• On-time delivery of development milestones
• Application stability and performance in production environments
• Code quality, maintainability, and documentation standards
• Compliance with security and accessibility requirements

Candidate Profile

• Strong experience in full stack or front-end development
• Experience with React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, .NET, or Java
• Experience in public sector or large enterprise environments (asset)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in Agile delivery teams

Education & Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field
• Eligible to work in Canada
• Public sector experience considered a strong asset
