Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer, based in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area with flexibility for remote work. The responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable web applications and ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot and resolve software issues, and stay updated on emerging technologies to incorporate innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years experience as a developer
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Full-Stack Development
• Strong skills in Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
• Expertise in Software Development and building scalable applications
• In-depth knowledge of Java and related frameworks
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote work
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
• Familiarity with customer lifecycle management solutions is an advantage
