For our team Grizzlies, we are adding a full‑stack engineer who brings strong software engineering fundamentals, a solid product and business mindset, and an ability to pragmatically leverage current AI capabilities to design, build, evolve, and operate secure and maintainable software products that scale reliably and create measurable customer‑ and business value.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑performance systems based on PHP and MySQL, effectively utilizing modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js).
• Work in an environment where AI is an integral part of how we build and evolve software.
• Build and evolve systems that perform reliably under high load and withstand business pressure.
• Understand product and business needs and translate them into pragmatic, sustainable solutions that create measurable impact.
• Make and facilitate solid decisions on architecture, APIs, data models, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Improve engineering workflows, testing, and delivery quality together with your team.
• Embrace “you build it, you run it” ownership and contribute to reliable production operations.

Requirements

• Agentic development setup & comprehensive GenAI skills developed over the past year, with a deep understanding of why solutions work, not just that they work.
• Proven product builder mindset with the ability to engage in productive discourse with development teams, product, stakeholders, and customers; able to professionally push back on requests when technical constraints or security implications demand it.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role building scalable, business‑critical systems with real‑world exposure to complex products in high‑load scenarios.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, APIs, performance, and security.
• Experience with modern software quality practices as well as Docker, Git, CI/CD.
• Strong communication skills: explain trade‑offs clearly and advocate for the long‑term health of systems, not just shipping the feature today.
• Professional language skills (equivalent to C1 level) in English and/or German.
