We are looking for Full Stack Software Engineers who thrive on creating products with automation on AWS and On-premises. Join our Digital team, where you'll automate business processes and build foundational frontend and backend applications on AWS.

This role involves collaboration with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a variety of full-stack development tools and technologies. Your proactive approach to staying up-to-date with tech trends, experimenting with new technologies, and mentoring fellow engineers will be essential.

Responsibilities

• Engineer automated solutions and testing, and implement monitoring and observability.
• Work closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
• Utilize programming languages such as React, HTML/CSS, Node.js, SQL, Python, and Open Source databases, leveraging tools like Docker and Kubernetes, along with AWS services.
• Develop solutions that enhance quality, delivery, efficiency, and improve the customer and employee experience through automation.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Resolve production issues and coordinate with IT and vendors as necessary.
• Manage and prioritize tasks, overseeing the activities of others to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with business units on enhancements and changes.
• Lead the implementation of new technologies, analyzing technical specifications, and enforcing security best practices.
• Provide after-hours production support, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Conduct root cause analysis of application issues, facilitating resolution with vendors and internal teams.
• Demonstrate proficiency in version control systems like Git, managing code repositories effectively.
• Mentor and provide technical assistance to engineering team members.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant discipline is preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in front-end and back-end development.
• At least 2 years of experience with Agile practices.
• 2 years of experience with React, TypeScript, Node, and cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
• Experience designing and implementing AI/ML-powered features preferred.
• Prior experience in integrating ML models into full-stack applications and enhancing customer-facing tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with flexibility in ambiguous situations.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building effective working relationships across levels.
• Excellent active listening skills.

Physical Requirements

This position involves sedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds occasionally, and requires minimal walking or standing. Occasional travel may be required, typically once a month or less.

Compensation

CoBank offers a competitive salary range of $121,000 - $148,900, along with eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program. This position is based at our headquarters outside Denver, Colorado.
