Description
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a fast-paced analytics team focused on discovering opportunities and enabling activities across numerous technical fields. You will be responsible for designing and delivering custom applications that provide data visualization, workflow automation, and operational visibility for business-critical activities.
You will work closely with end users to collect requirements, gather feedback, and provide support across a wide variety of tasks. This is a customer-service-oriented software development role where requirements can change rapidly based on customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop scripts and analytics that provide novel insights into unique questions.
- Find and aggregate data from disparate sources and integrate it into new and existing tools.
- Develop new UIs and visualizations that give customers better understanding of their data.
- Elicit requirements and feedback directly from end-users and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other technical teams to share expertise and elevate all teams.
Skills Requirements
- Experience developing in Python, specifically for data transformations.
- Experience writing frontend web applications in JavaScript/TypeScript with React.
- Experience querying and developing in a big data environment.
- Experience developing on and managing Linux servers.
- Comfortable working directly with customers and users to solve unique, hard problems.
- Desire to architect and implement solutions end-to-end.
Nice to Haves
- Experience using AWS.
- Experience with additional programming languages or frameworks (Java, FastAPI, Angular, Spring Boot, etc.).
- Desire to mentor and teach others.
- Knowledge of AI/ML and big data tools (DuckDB, Polars, Pandas, Spark).
Compensation
Salary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, experience, skills, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $200,000 – $250,000 (annualized USD).
