Role Overview

As a full stack developer, you will partner closely with UX design teams to create exceptional client-side applications.

About the Team

The Clinical Key Web team is responsible for the frontend of one of Elsevier's flagship products, utilized daily by thousands of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and medical students, to enhance patient care and research.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience with both frontend and backend technologies, specifically React and Node. Only candidates with this skill set will be considered.
• Previous involvement with micro frontends is essential.
• Experience leading applications through the complete project life cycle.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies for software development.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members to foster innovation.
• A strong grasp of the essential applications/products in the Science, Medicine, and Education sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain intricate applications using React for the frontend and Node.js for the backend.
• Ensure smooth integration of client-side and server-side components to create responsive, scalable, and secure web applications.
• Create user interfaces and front-end modules that adhere to accessibility, performance, and usability standards within the Micro Focus framework.
• Develop and optimize UI components that align with enterprise design systems and technical standards.
• Lead applications through the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), from gathering requirements to deployment and maintenance.
• Maintain high-quality releases through practices such as continuous integration, rigorous code reviews, and automated testing.

Compensation

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $86,600 - $144,400, with geographic differentials applicable in certain locations to reflect local market rates.

If performed in Maryland, the base pay range is $90,900 - $151,700. If performed in New Jersey, the base pay range is $97,867 - $156,333.

This position is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
