Senior Full‑Stack Developer — Java / Spring Boot & React

Mission Overview

The Senior Full‑Stack Developer contributes to the design, development, and operation of modern Java/Spring and React/TypeScript applications within a scalable, cloud‑aligned, service‑oriented architecture. The role involves end‑to‑end delivery across back end, front end, CI/CD, testing, and deployment activities. It includes maintaining production‑grade platforms, supporting qualification and production releases, and ensuring high reliability and secure engineering practices. The developer collaborates with multi‑disciplinary teams (development, data, operations, QA) in an Agile/Scrum environment. The role also supports platform evolution, documentation, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Java/Spring Boot microservices and React/TypeScript front‑end components.
• Build, deploy, and operate applications on Kubernetes/AKS, ensuring performance, resilience, and security.
• Develop APIs and integrations, including solutions leveraging Azure cloud services and Azure Data Lake (where required).
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, integration testing, code quality enforcement, and secure coding practices.
• Support deployments to qualification and production environments, assist in functional testing, bug fixing, and production support.
• Maintain and evolve platform monitoring and alerting capabilities (where applicable) including Elastic Stack–based observability.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and maintain clear technical and functional documentation.

Mandatory Skills

Backend (Java/Spring)

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST API design, distributed systems, and production‑grade cloud applications.
• Experience designing secure, scalable microservice architectures with strong operational discipline.

Frontend (React)

• Proficiency in ReactJS, Redux, JavaScript/TypeScript, and UI unit testing frameworks (Jest, Enzyme).

Cloud & Platform

• Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services.
• Experience with Kubernetes / AKS, Docker, and Linux environments.

DevOps & CI/CD

• CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), Git, Maven, Nexus.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and operational lifecycle management.

Architecture & Engineering

• Knowledge of Hexagonal / DDD architecture concepts.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.
• Unit testing, integration testing, and coding standards compliance.

Additional Backend Skills (Good to have)

• Experience with PostgreSQL and message brokers such as RabbitMQ or equivalent.
• Exposure to observability platforms (Elastic Stack, monitoring‑as‑a‑service).
• Strong documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience supporting production systems at scale and in enterprise environments.

Specific Requirements

• English‑speaking working environment so its French + English required.
• Hybrid working model flexible: 50% on‑site (Paris / Île‑de‑France) and 50% remote.
• Ability to work across front‑end and back‑end layers.
• Experience resolving complex technical incidents in real‑time or production‑critical environments.
• Ability to produce and maintain technical specifications, documentation, deployment guides, and change‑management artifacts.
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum feature teams.
• Ability to work autonomously at senior/expert level and support users or stakeholders where necessary.
