Senior Fullstack Engineer

Your role in the team

• As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will work on the continuous development of our Digital Front Office platform (DiFO) - a cloud-native, modular architecture for digital sales processes.
• In addition to traditional feature development, you will take targeted responsibility for stability, code quality, and technical sustainability.
• You analyze complex production incidents, identify root causes in the code or integration, and derive structural improvements.
• Development of new features in the backend (Java Microservices) and frontend (Angular, SAP UI5 Web Components)
• Further development of our microservice and microfrontend architecture
• Refactoring existing components to improve maintainability and performance
• Improvement of test coverage, observability, and resilience
• Technical conception in close coordination with architecture and business units
• Ensuring API stability and integration quality
• Support for 2nd Level and Operations in escalations
• Analyze complex production incidents at the service, API, UI, or platform level.
• Conducting root cause analyses
• Sustainable debugging in code, not just workarounds
• Derivation of technical improvements from incidents

• Excellent knowledge in: Java (Microservices), Angular, REST APIs & Integration Architectures
• Proficient in Docker, CI/CD, and Git
• Understanding of databases (e.g., MongoDB) and Event Driven Architecture
• Understanding API-First Approaches
• Security awareness in the sense of SSDLC
• Analytical, structured, solution-oriented
• Ability to quickly understand complex system interrelationships
• High degree of autonomy

Experience

• Several years of experience as a Fullstack Developer in an enterprise environment
• Experience with Kubernetes-based platforms
• Experience with Logging, Monitoring, and Tracing
• Experience with modular architectures (Microservices, Microfrontends)
• Experience with scalable cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
