Your Tasks
- You advise our customers in the development of Data & AI strategies and accompany them from the initial idea to successful operation.
- You work closely with our engineers, engagement leads, and architects to realize innovative, scalable, and operable solutions (especially in the Google Cloud Platform environment).
- You conceptualize and develop applications for data integration, analysis, and generative AI – with a focus on scalability and operability.
- You support sales through workshops, solution sketches, technical concepts, and effort estimations.
- You are the first point of contact for technical questions, new ideas, or operational challenges related to our Data & AI services throughout the entire customer relationship.
What You Bring
- You have a product-oriented mindset and proven experience in building and scaling platforms to improve the Developer Experience (DevEx) for technical users.
- You have practical experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Terragrunt to build reusable, modular, and automated infrastructure.
- You possess in-depth technical expertise in at least one of the following areas: Google Cloud Platform (GCS, Bigquery, Open Table Formats (e.g., Iceberg), Airflow, Cloud Run, PubSub), Data Engineering (e.g., ETL/ELT, SQL, Python), Data Analytics (e.g., Looker Platform or Dataform), Machine Learning, or Generative AI (e.g., Agent Engine, VertexAI, RAG Engine, MCP Server, ADK, Agent Registry, Bigquery ML, Auto ML).
- You understand the architecture and setup of scalable CI/CD pipelines for automating the testing and deployment of infrastructure and applications.
- You have a strong understanding of modern platform architectures and a passion for defining "Golden Paths" that abstract complexity for end-users.
- You have experience with modern data platforms and architectures such as Data Lakehouse, Event Streaming, or API Integration (ideally also with containerized environments or Kubernetes).
- You bring strong communication skills in German and English, have a good sense for customer needs, and present yourself professionally and reliably.
