Position Overview
Join Serco as a driven Senior Global Learning Data Analyst to enhance our team supporting the Joint Staff J7, Joint Lessons Learned Program. This role is based in Suffolk, Virginia.
- Must have an active U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance and be capable of obtaining a Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
The selected candidate will play a crucial role in collecting and analyzing extensive datasets to derive insights and formulate solutions that align with organizational objectives. You will leverage your technical, analytical, and communication skills to make informed contributions to decision‑making processes.
Responsibilities
- Collect data from various sources and prepare it for detailed analysis.
- Examine large volumes of unstructured data to discern trends and patterns.
- Develop machine learning models and predictive algorithms tailored to address business challenges.
- Utilize statistical techniques to validate findings and ensure accuracy.
- Automate processes through the use of AI tools and programming.
- Create engaging visualizations and comprehensive reports to present your findings.
- Collaborate effectively with diverse teams to apply data‑driven insights.
- Stay informed about the latest tools, technologies, and methods in data science.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Active U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance with the potential to obtain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline, accompanied by a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to design, plan, analyze, execute, assess, adjust, evaluate, and report on activities with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on clear, concise report writing.
- Proven track record of planning work effectively and tracking/reporting progress.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Suffolk, Virginia.
- Able to travel up to 10% as required.
