This position is integral to our Medical Segment, focusing specifically on Presource® medical surgical kitting. The Presource® Products and Services empower customers with insight-driven procedural solutions and products that enhance efficiencies in patient care. Our product line features the aggregation and delivery of specialized procedure-specific bundles containing essential disposable intraoperative supplies for various surgical and medical procedures. Presource® manages over 18 kit product categories, 17+ GPO contracts, 36,000+ finished good SKUs, and ships more than 86 million units annually.
In the role of Senior Global Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the upstream product strategy that influences the downstream management of our diverse procedural product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and develop strategy and results for the Orthopedics and Neurosurgery procedural kit portfolios.
- Oversee upstream activities, including procedural assessments, component lifecycles, and insights development.
- Collaborate on the global commercialization and creation of innovative products.
- Utilize advanced marketing and product management knowledge to construct business and product plans.
- Analyze market trends, customer demands, and competitive landscape to formulate optimized product offerings for target segments and channels.
- Conduct primary and secondary market research to identify market opportunities and implement necessary solutions that fulfill customer needs.
- Translate insights into clearly defined product requirements and strategies across diverse channels.
- Evaluate business cases, investment requests, forecasting, pricing, and strategic options critically.
- Observe operations and engage with clinical staff to gather insights into competitors' practices and unmet customer needs.
- Manage product lifecycle from discovery to post-launch management and retirement.
- Develop product strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Stay updated on market trends and assess product lifecycle implications to maintain competitiveness.
- Exhibit strong financial acumen and logical decision-making abilities.
- Execute initiatives to enhance the penetration of Cardinal branded products.
- Act as a procedural/product expert for assigned product lines.
- Influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sourcing, manufacturing, and sales operations.
- Provide inspirational leadership to both the product management team and broader cross-functional support teams.
- Embrace informed risks and encourage proactive action.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Prior Product Management experience is desired; upstream marketing experience is preferred.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
Work Location
This position is remote and can be based anywhere within the United States.
Salary
Expected Salary Range: $105,100 - $135,000
