ABOUT THE ROLE
We are in search of an outstanding Recruiter dedicated to finding and securing the world's top talent. This is not a typical volume recruiting position; success is defined by your ability to land the top 0.01% of candidates in engineering and Go-To-Market (GTM) roles. You will take charge of the entire recruiting lifecycle, from building talent pipelines from scratch to fostering deep relationships with exceptional candidates and moving swiftly and skillfully throughout the process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the complete recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing and initial outreach to offer negotiation and closing for engineering and GTM positions.
- Build and maintain high-quality candidate pipelines from the ground up, focusing heavily on passive sourcing for those hard-to-reach profiles.
- Design and implement targeted outbound sourcing strategies to engage with the top 0.01% of talent across both technical and operational roles.
- Act as a dynamic brand ambassador for the company in every candidate interaction, ensuring a strong impression regardless of the outcome.
- Collaborate closely with founders and hiring managers to thoroughly understand role requirements, team culture, and what excellence looks like for each position.
- Efficiently advance candidates through the process, minimizing obstacles while delivering a high-quality experience at every stage.
- Track and manage recruitment metrics and pipeline activity using Ashby, leveraging data to enhance sourcing effectiveness and conversion rates.
- Stay updated on the talent landscape in AI/ML, including key researchers, engineers, and operators worth following.
- Contribute to shaping the company's employer brand and recruiting strategies as we scale.
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF
- You possess 6+ years of experience recruiting AI/ML and software engineering talent, ideally in a research-focused or deep tech environment.
- You have a background in fast-paced, early-stage companies where roles evolve in real-time.
- You excel in building pipelines from scratch for niche roles that may not respond to traditional job postings.
- You have a keen sense of what defines excellence for technical positions and the determination to uphold high standards even under pressure.
- You are familiar with modern recruiting tools such as Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and AI-enabled sourcing platforms.
- You leave candidates with a positive impression of the company through your engaging interactions.
STRONG CANDIDATES MAY ALSO
- Possess sufficient technical knowledge to engage in meaningful discussions with engineers. While you don't need to code, you understand their work.
- Have prior experience in a research-driven or deep tech company.
- Maintain an established network of passive AI/ML and engineering talent built over time.
- Have experience in contributing to or establishing a recruiting function from the ground up at an early-stage enterprise.
