Senior Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer (AWS)

We are seeking a skilled Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer to support and modernize enterprise infrastructure across on-prem and AWS environments. This role focuses on improving scalability, reliability, automation, and cost efficiency while enabling cloud-first operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS environments (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3) and hybrid architectures
• Support migration of legacy systems to AWS and develop modernization strategies
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across cloud and on-prem systems
• Implement automation and IaC (Terraform) for consistent deployments
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization
• Drive cost optimization (FinOps) and resource efficiency
• Enforce security best practices including IAM, MFA, and encryption
• Collaborate with engineering teams on CI/CD pipelines and platform standards

Required Experience

• 5+ years in cloud/infrastructure engineering
• Strong experience with AWS, IAM (RBAC), and hybrid environments
• Hands-on with Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Familiarity with Ansible (preferred)
• Solid understanding of networking, identity, and system integration
