Senior Identity (Ping) Engineer

Our client is a large financial services enterprise with a strong focus on secure, scalable digital identity experiences across workforce and customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Ping Identity SME and platform owner across a large enterprise environment
• Lead architecture, design, deployment, and scaling of Ping Identity solutions
• Support both workforce SSO and customer IAM (CIAM) environments
• Configure and support PingFederate, PingID, Ping Directory, PingOne, PingOne MFA, PingOne Protect, and PingOne Verify
• Design complex identity workflows and authentication journeys using PingOne DaVinci
• Lead enterprise rollout of Passkeys and passwordless authentication
• Support on-prem, private cloud, and SaaS-based PingOne architectures
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis across the Ping ecosystem
• Integrate Ping Identity with Microsoft Entra ID and other IdP/IdM technologies
• Document architecture, workflows, and operational procedures
• Communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholders across multiple concurrent IAM initiatives

Requirements

• 7+ years of IAM engineering/architecture experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the full Ping Identity suite
• Deep expertise with PingFederate, PingID, Ping Directory, and PingOne
• Strong experience implementing passwordless authentication using FIDO2, WebAuthn, and Passkeys
• Expert understanding of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, and LDAP
